Benetton are after Milton Palacio
According to basketzone.lt, Milton Palacio(1.93-PG) is the prime candidate for Benetton. Palacio played for Vancouver, Boston, Phoenix, Cleveland, Toronto and Utah in the past in the NBA and in Europe he has only played for Partizan, before moving to Khimki. Last season he averged 6.4 points 2.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 33 games in the Russian Superleague for Khimki. He is currently playing for Kavala BC in Greece where he averaging 7.7 points 2 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 6 games in the Greek A1 league.
If Benetton doesn't manage to buy-out the contract of Palacio from Kavala then they will turn on their alternative targets who are, Andre Barret, Sean Singletary and Travis Best. As Kavala are in the relegation zone they might not want to sell one of their best players.

Dixon out, Rakocevic in?
Juan Dixon(1.91-SG)'s contract is suspended until further notice due a positive drug test of the player during his stay in Greece. Dixon was playing for Aris Thessaloniki at the time when he submitted the sample and although it was submitted in the beginning of November it only surfaced recently.
Hence Malaga need a replacement scorer in their backcourt because Omar Cook can only do so much. At the moment they're keeping their eyes on Igor Rakocevic according to sur.es, awaiting the possible dissolution of his contract with Efes Pilsen. Rakocevic was one of the stars that Efes Pilsen signed during the summer but his relationship with head coach Ergin Ataman reached boiling point after a heated confrontation during a Euroleague game. On the other hand Rakocevic played for 20 minutes during the Turkish league game against Fenerbahce. If this takes too long or Rakocevic stays in Efes Pilsen they might turn their attention elsewhere.
